Finished introduction to shading on scratchpixel!
Managed to get reflection and refraction working !
So I’ve been getting my feet wet in Rust for the first time and I’m suprised at how I’m enjoying rust as a programming language! Feel free to take a look at https://github.com/Xyten/rust-pong-xyt !
Xytengine now supports undos and redos! Next will be trying to find any memory leaks from the c++ side as well as the opengl side.
I’ve implemented a basic object translation similiar to blender “Move” command. I’m thinking of moving onto adding more objects into my scene and make it look like a proper renderer. I will also add undo and redo commands after this.
I succesfully compiled and run Xytengine on Linux! Since I was unfamilliar with make and cmake it was hellishly hard I’ll do object highlights next while breaking downs the current code into classes
